In your pursuit for knowledge and new skills, you will always get something new to learn. In order to lead, you need to be well trained, competent, up to date in your domain and confident. Learning must be aligned with your job role and skill-set requirement. 

All good and efficient leaders need to demonstrate effective learning and development skills. Investing time, money and effort on learning will boost your moral, enhance your employability quotient and increase your credibility. With all these things in mind, here is a list of questions to consider prior to learning something new:

·       Does it match the skills requirements at your workplace?
·       Do professional bodies of your state accredit the institute or learning portal?
·       What is the pocket pinch?
·       How much time do you need to devote on a daily basis?
·       Is there facility for online classes?

You can’t afford to be stagnant because in this age of disruptive economy, it’s important to stay relevant by upgrading your skills. There’s always something new to learn in order to keep pushing yourself and exploring your capabilities.
