Bullying has devastating consequences, as we've seen in the tragic cases of young Malaysians. While amendments have been made to the Penal Code, a different approach is needed for incidents involving those under 18, especially in schools.

​The government is now conducting a nationwide stakeholder engagement to gather public feedback on a proposal to establish a dedicated Anti-Bullying Tribunal.

​This tribunal aims to:
🔹 Provide an informal and accessible platform for victims to seek justice.
🔹 Offer a resolution path without immediately criminalizing young individuals.
🔹 Ensure that every report of bullying is heard and addressed seriously.
