I met with activists and lawyers from Suara Rakyat Malaysia (SUARAM), a local human rights organisation, this morning to discuss human rights issues relating to the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 (SOSMA). SOSMA falls under the purview of the Home Ministry. 

It cannot be denied that there are various human rights concerns surrounding SOSMA which must be balanced against the interests of national security. 

I will elevate all concerns raised to me today to the Home Ministry for their further action.
