Social Intelligence is the capacity to build personal or business relationships and navigate social environments. While our education system often an emphasis on developing our IQ and making us smart in reality, our relationships play a crucial role in defining our success both personally and professionally.

Social intelligence, as a topic, is not popularised in the majority of the regular schools and business schools. However, as soon as you prepare to interact with someone, your social intelligence is solicited well before opening your mouth, a socially intelligent person will have asked questions to influence the course of interaction. We all know people who are successful with others. They are appreciated by their colleagues, respected, always reaching them,  they may be an excellent leader and many to support their needs. It could be social intelligence capability that works for them. Its the way, to get along with others, gain their empathy and influence them. All these skills are essential to every man who lives in society.

Therefore working on building strong social relationships is worth paying an effort:

  • Weak relationships consistently leading to conflicts are one of the significant sources of anxiety, stress and psychological issues.
     
  • Our relationships affect every area of our lives– from spouses to friends, friends to kids and colleagues to customers

Understanding:

But not only, because to get along with others, but you must also first understand them.

Understanding others demands observation, listening, and a deep understanding of human behaviour.

If you can get information from someone without asking them, then you are showing social intelligence. And it is not so difficult.

For example, it is essential to determine what the person feels and why they feel it.

Without social intelligence, you can have a beautiful bus, and you can go in the direction of your goals, you can exactly know how to drive, but what if the bus is empty.
