In order to
eradicate unemployment and to augment ‘empowerment’ in women, there is no
alternative to ‘skill development’. Understanding their passion and investing
in specific skill development should be one of the primary responsibilities of
every nation.
Keeping in
tandem with the culture of the country, the rural section can be engaged in
‘handicrafts practice’ at a small level. It will not only give them sustainable
income but will also help in the entire overhaul of that particular nation.
Engaging in
machine design, designing of household items/appliances also hold huge scope
for women in the rural section. Women who have a creative bend of mind can also
invest in an artifact, apparels, and soft toy designing /manufacturing.
In an urban
milieu, women can pursue business and commerce and become entrepreneurs. Women
if passionate can also enrol in military services as well as serve in senior
administrative positions.
Various
organizations are now highly engaged towards the betterment and uplift of women
through their CSR arm.
So, the
development of both employability and soft skills in women should be the prime
focus of any nation in order to pave the way for substantial ‘women
empowerment’.
The money they
make will not help them lead a luxurious life but acts as a harbinger of food,
clothes, shelter and lastly security to hope for a better future for their
families.
