Call on the IGP to aggressively locate Prasana Diksa.

On the 30th May 2014, Justice Lee Swee Seng, with courage and conviction made two orders in favour of Indira Gandhi:-

1.    A Recovery Order under the Child Act 2001; compelling the police to find and return Prasana Diksa to her mother. The Recovery Order was served on the IGP on 13-6-2014.
2.    A Committal Order; committing Patmanathan a/l Krishnan @ Muhammad Riduan bin Abdullah to the Tapah Prison until he returns Prasana Diksa to her mother. Justice Lee Swee Seng also issued a Warrant of Arrest ordering all police officers to apprehend Patmanathan, wherever he may be. The Committal Order and the Warrant of Arrest was served on the IGP on 18-6-2014. Today, we have served the Warrant of Arrest and the Committal Order on the Ipoh police station.

These Court Orders have also been served on the Kota Bharu district police station.

We have been informed by Patmanathan’s lawyer that Prasana Diksa is still with Patmanathan and they are apparently in Kota Bharu, Kelantan.
As at this date, we have not received any information from the police on their efforts in locating Patmanathan a/l Krishnan @ Muhammad Riduan bin Abdullah or Prasana Diksa.

Indira Gandhi is not just another name. She is a mother who has had her daughter abducted, converted and hidden away from her. This should never be allowed to happen and no Malaysian should ever stand for such a gross disregard of a child’s life; to intentionally deprieve a daughter of her own mother.

Indira Gandhi has stood bravely and has exhausted every legal avenue to secure her beloved daughter back into her arms. Her daughter was taken away from her when she was only 11 months old and Indira Gandhi has never seen her since March 2009. Prasana Diksa should now be 6 years old.

Indira Gandhi has missed valuable moments in her daughter’s life; when she began to walk, to talk, to ask questions and to dream. Prasana Diksa has herself been deprived of the natural love and affection of her mother as well as the personal and intimate care of her mother. This is simply cruel and heartless.

With all legal avenues exhausted, we now leave the fate of Prasana Diksa to the police who with their large resources and decades of expertise in locating criminals, should have no problem apprehending Patmanathan a/l Krishnan @ Muhammad Riduan bin Abdullah and sending him to the Tapah Prison to remain there until he decides to deliver Prasana Diksa to her mother.

The speed at which the police have acted in assisting the various Jabatan Agama Islam in Penang and Selangor recently, gives us much hope that the apprehension of Patmanathan a/l Krishnan @ Muhammad Riduan bin Abdullah will be done immediately and without any further delay.

We wish to make it clear that if the police refuses to act on the Court Orders, we will make the necessary applications in Court to compel obedience including contempt of court.

Indira Gandhi waits in anticipation for the day she can receive Prasana Diksa into her embrace and welcomes any public spirited individual who may have information as to Prasana Diksa’s whereabouts and is willing to assist her and the police in securing the return of Prasana Diksa.
