MH370 tragedy has saddened and shocked the nation and the world. Till today, many people are still wondering how a high technology and sophisticated plane could just disappear without sending out any prior distress signal.

Much international criticisms have been leveled at the government’s inept handling of the tragedy, I shall not add any.

This is a difficult time for the families of those on board MH370. .I hope and pray for a miracle for the plane.

I must say that I am touched by the fact that Malaysians of all races, religions and ages have come together to pray for the safety of all on board. Let’s hope that a miracle can truly happen.

MH370 incident was not the only sad development which happened over the last 7 days.

On March 7, the Court of Appeal has overturned the High Court’s decision to acquit Anwar Ibrahim of sodomy charges. He was sentenced to 5 years jail sentence.

On March 11, DAP Chairman Karpal Singh was fined RM 4000 for his sedition offence.

This means both Anwar and Karpal will be disqualified as Member of Parliament unless they succeed in their appeals.

If the BN people think that Anwar’s and Karpal’s political lives have been destroyed, they must think again.

If they think that Pakatan Rakyat will be weakened, they will be proven wrong.

Anwar was sentenced to 6 years jail for corruption and 9 years jail for sodomy charges more than a decade ago.   

But Anwar was not finished. BN could not finish him then and BN will not be able to finish him again this time. 

Karpal was confined to wheelchair after a car accident a few years ago, but he has continued to fight great battles in the legal and political fronts.

This is one great tiger who will never ever give up. No way can BN finish him.

Burt what is more important is that Malaysians who hold the ballot power to change government must rise up to the occasion at the next general election to bring about a new Putrajaya government.

Despite having suffered unprecedented electoral losses in the 2008 and 2013 general elections, BN has not reformed and the government continues to be incompetent in ruling the nation.

Despite all his talk about 1 Malaysia concept, the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib has not been able to walk his talk.

Pakatan Rakyat will go all out to ensure Road to Putrajaya mission become a success.
