Parents and students who attended the above Forum had passed the following Resolutions which shall be sent to the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Taun Razak.

Resolution 1

That the Indian community wants the total intake of Indian students for Matriculation be 2100 as agreed by Mr. Prime Minister with HINDRAF upon signing the Memorandum of Understanding prior to the 13 the general elections.

Further, as this year’s intake being only 1142 students, the balance of 358 must  be filled in a week’s time and 2100 places should be allocated for Indian students for the 2014 intake. 

Resolution 2

That the yearly intake of 2,100 Indian students into Matriculation colleges be disclosed publicly on the Educations Ministry's website in order for the implementing authorities to avoid any ambiguity or uncertainty as to the number of Indian students eligible for Matriculation places.

Resolution 3

That the present system of meritocracy for  enrolling Indian students into Matriculation and Institutions of Higher Learning (IPT)   be modified by working out a formula incorporating both meritocracy and quota system to ensure at least 7.5% Indian students are placed in Matriculation Colleges and IPTs..

Resolution 4

That a Unified System of Education be implemented in all secondary schools by scrapping STPM and replacing it with Matriculation. This will give equal and fair opportunity to all students to compete for places in IPT’s.

The government needs not build new schools as the existing schools with its facilities and resources can be utilised to teach Matriculation courses.

Resolution 5.

That Asasi conducted by the IPTA should be opened up for all races.

  1. Great Post!!! You expressed your views in nice way. In today's time, the education become necessity of the person. And that's the reason, there is various schools, classes and many Colleges in India. All these provides the knowledge to the students. Thanks.
