To save Malaysia, come next General Elections, Malaysians must rise to the occasion and create the second political tsunami

To save Malaysia, come the next general election, Malaysians must rise to the occasion and create the second political tsunami to “retire permanently” the Federal and Perak state BN government from office and power.

Tunship enjoys legal immunity?
I have more than once been asked this question in the past by my constituents , “ is it true that a person who is a Tun enjoy legal immunity?”
With Tun Ling Liong Sik being charged for cheating the government in connection with the RM 12.5 bil Port Klang Free Zone ( PKFZ) fiasco, I no longer have to explain that a Tun ‘s privilege is only being entitled to the use of VIP room at KLIA and state airports.
Malaysians have always lamented that in the government’s battle against corruption, only ikan bilis are caught or charged. Sharks and big fishes are always elusive.
It therefore still came as a surprise that Tun Ling was arrested and charged for cheating the government.
Ling was the MCA president for 17 years. He is a former Minister. Media have described him as a big fish. He indeed is.
Till today, many will still remember his famous reminder to MCA leaders and members that a fish rots from the head.
Of course, many people also still remember comments he made two years ago in connection with Dr Chua Soi Lek sex video issue.
He was reported to have said that “men have to release their extra energy, and as long as they don’t talk about it (cheating on their spouses) and don’t get caught, there is no problem”.
RM 12.5 bil Port Klang Free Zone ( PKFZ) fiasco- will any one else be charged?
With Ling being charged, public speculation is rife on whether and when will another big fish be arrested and charged..
Last year, the parliamentary Public Accounts Committee (PAC) recommended that the former Transport Minister Tan Sri Chan Kong Choy be investigated for criminal breach of trust over the wrongful issuance of three letters of support.
The BN government must tell the people what is the latest status with regard to the investigation.
Everyone knows that when a fisherman goes fishing, he does not come back with one fish. That goes too for deep sea fishing, the catch will not be just one big fish.
There will only be one fish if the sea has only one fish or the fisherman’s net can only catch one big fish.
No one will believe that the RM 12.5 bil PKFZ scandal only involves one fish or one big one. There are also so many corruption issues in the country where big fishes are involved and still swim free. The MACC and the Attorney General office have enough powers to go after the big fishes. What is needed is the political will from the BN government which sadly is still lacking.
BN- Barang Naik- Bankruptkan Negara
A few months ago, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Idris Jala had warned that the nation could go bankrupt if subsides on petrol , sugar and some food items are not slashed.
I say that subsidies alone or even high subsidies will not make a nation bankrupt, but a decadent government, massive corruption, mismanagement, wasteful mega projects are the key causes.
Public have always said BN means Barang Naik. Now they have begun to say BN means Bankruptkan Negara.
To save Malaysia, come the next general election, Malaysians must rise to the occasion and create the second political tsunami to “retire permanently” the Federal and Perak state BN government from office and power.
MCA President optimistic PR can form next Government
MCA President Datuk Chua Soi Lek has said that if Pakatan Rakyat comes to Federal power, a PAS leader might become the new Prime Minister. Obviously, MCA which used to frighten Chinese voters with the Islamic State issue is now banking on a PAS Prime Minister tactic to scare the voters. But lies will not work.In fact, by saying so , Datuk Chua is acknowledging the possibility of Pakatan Rakyat toppling the BN government but his worry is only that the new Prime Minister may be from PAS. So come the next general election, lets put the Pakatan Rakyat in Federal power and Anwar as the new Prime Minister of Malaysia.
